My experience in Spain with rental companies at the airport is extremely bad, it seems that these companies are run by Spanish criminals, also when the same company, eg Europcar, is reliable in other countries. So my advice to all is not to rent any car beforehand in Spain, unless you know the company is reliable. I rented a car in the place where I was staying (San Pedro) with Rual. Everything went well and it was great that I could return it at the airport. I can for sure recommend Rual.

Really good rental service, i looked everywhere to rent a car for 3 days and they were really friendly and helpful. They speak english and they sorted all of our worries and complications we had about renting the car. on top of that they gave us an amazing price for the car. They were contactable at all sorts of hours when we needed help with something and overall just super amazing! would definitely rent here again. Thank you !

Alles ging reibungslos von der Hand. Das Auto bekamen wir sauber und ordentlich. Leider nicht mit vollem Tank. Aber sie haben es auch mit halb vollem Tank zurückgenommen. Bei der Abgabe bekamen wir ohne wenn und aber das gesperrte Geld (500.— CHF) wieder zurück. Viel transparent und ein fairer Preis. Everything went smoothly. We got the car clean and tidy. Unfortunately not with a full tank. But they also took it back with half full tank. At the delivery we got back the money (500.- CHF) without any ifs and buts. A lot of transparency and a fair price.
